I did initial my degree in Chiropody & Podiatric Medicine in 1997 before travelling extensively overseas as an expat in the oil and gas industry. I bought Scamps in 2012 when the previous owner retired and over the last 10 years have transformed the club by adding a Before School Club and Holiday provision and working closely with the families to provide a home-from-home environment for the children where they can feel relaxed and comfortable in their surroundings. I have worked hard to establish the most amazing team with highly trained and skilled individuals who bring with them a wealth of knowledge, experience and loads of fun.
I have a noisy Siamese cat called Beau, I like cycling, paddle boarding and I am currently doing my PDA Plus Level 9 in Childhood Practice, Leadership & Management.

Hi, my name is Esme. I am currently studying an MSci in Counselling, Psychology and Education at Aberdeen University. I recently joined the SCAMPS team and have really enjoyed getting to know the children and being part of such a welcoming environment. I am also a volunteer counsellor at Childline, which has been a very rewarding experience. My hobbies are mainly musical, I’ve played guitar from a young age and also play bass and a bit of drums, but my main focus is on music production. Hi, my name is Daria. I moved from Poland to Aberdeen in 2019. After I finished S6 in 2022 my plans were to become a chemistry teacher. Unfortunately, I had to drop out of Uni and work full time. I still hoped to go back to studying in the future, so I could work within a childcare sector.
